GMail Feature Request

Seriously I need this: I don’t want to remember that large number and check if it has increased to understand a new mail arrived or not. Until the day browsers support out of the window notifications, I want GMail to support a way to indicate that a new mail arrived or not via taskbar title.

It could be something like this:
Initial state: Inbox (4018) …
A new mail arrived: Inbox (4019*) …
Window is focused for N seconds: Inbox (4019) …
